So, it's been awhile since I have been able to get on here. Everything has been a little crazy now that the holidays are here. I have a ton of homework, lots of family to see and still maintain a full time job. But I'm not going to talk about that job on here.
I haven't stuck to the whole work out thing. (Big surprise). But I have motivation now!! My husband's Christmas party is coming up and I really don't want to wear a big frumpy dress just to hide the stomach that makes me look like I am 3 months pregnant. So, in a time frame of 3 weeks, I must flatten these abs!! I know I can do it, I just need to make myself do it. The treadmill is calling!
It started snowing here on Sunday. It's so unbelievably cold. I am not prepared for this at all. We don't leave the heater on at night, so in the morning I freeze to death until I am ready to leave for work. If I turn the heater on while I am getting ready, it just blows cold air until 10 minutes before I leave. Then I always forget to turn it off and the house is warm for my dog all day. So, thank you, that is not an option.
Being someone that hates the cold, we are going to the North Rim for Thanksgiving. For those of you who don't know, the North Rim is located on the north side of the Grand Canyon. Yes sir, 8000 feet into the air, where it is snowing. I don't think the people that live there know what warmth actually is. But I have never been there, so lets be positive!!
So now it is time to go to work. Well, I am leaving early today since my awesome car has told me that I am late for an oil change, my driver side rear tire is low in psi and I need to get the battery checked before the 4 hour drive up there.
If I'm not on here before then, I hope whoever reads this, and whoever doesn't, has a wonderful Thanksgiving.
